Haroon Sellers
Aaron Haroon Sellars attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he majored in graphic arts and developed a special interest in film, photography and music. After joining the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists/Screen Actors Guild, he has acted and done voiceovers for film and radio broadcasts. He was lead singer and songwriter for the alternative band Motiongrind and producer of a large body of material as a solo artist. He became Muslim in 1996 and has been serving as the audio-visual artist at Zaytuna Institute since 2001, using digital media to document the institute's contributions to Islam in America. A published poet, he lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
